A few months ago I began working on a project for the Cobb County Bar Association. They provide a Lawyer Referral Service on behalf of their members. On the bright side it was web-based, on the other hand it was written in Classic ASP and using a Microsoft Access database for storage. It was always going down an, quite frankly, it was a mess.

When I was asked to take over this project I decided this was an ideal project for Adobe Flex and I was going to host it on my PHP/MySQL server. A short while later, we launched and the project has been a huge success. Since that time, I've added a variety of features and continue to work to improve it.

At this point, I began realizing that there are probably many bar associations facing the same challenges in providing referrals for their members and now I am in the process of changing sections to make it more adaptable to other bars. I have setup a demo site that let's you test-drive the software and, of course, provide more information on this website.
